![]() ![]() In total, Shirey hosted approximately 250 athletics competitions in a 300-day span (January 2022 – May 2022, and August 2022 – February 2023). These events include the MPSF Men's Volleyball Championship Tournament, NCAA Softball Los Angeles Regional and Super Regional, NCAA Women's Soccer first, second, third, and quarterfinals rounds, and the NCAA Men's Soccer First Round. She is responsible for all aspects of event management for the university's football, men's basketball, beach volleyball, and softball programs. She also oversees the NCAA, Pac-12, and MPSF championships and the event operations department. In her current role she works closely with the Rose Bowl, City of Pasadena, and other entities on and off campus to execute high quality, safe, and enjoyable events for the athletics department's 25 varsity programs. In this role, she has handled all bidding, administration, and the execution of numerous high end championship level events hosted on campus. Shirey is currently the assistant AD of event operations at UCLA. That type of attitude and energy can be contagious, and we hope that she can spread it on to others as we watch her grow in this industry."
